Why Professional Wrestling Is Good For Kids
Posted by Marketing Tactics - 27/04/09 at 06:04:51 pmParents should know by now that children and teens tend to imitate what they see on television, what they hear from the radio, and take in whatever they can from other forms of media. Professional wrestling may seem initially violent, but it actually holds much value to pass over to younger teens and even adults.
Children and teens need a role model as they age. Professional wrestlers make good role models since they are physically and mentally sound, have achieved fame in their search for employment, and are typically great characters and are good in nature. In that sense, it is no wonder there are thousands of posters, shirts, and other memorabilia decorating the rooms of teens.
Wrestlers are good at performing strategy tactics that clearly show that there is much more thought put into a wrestling match than what one would think. If you have ever went out for a high school wrestling team, you know that there are many moves that wrestlers much consider, learn how to get out of, and how to plan a counter-offensive to try and take an opponent down.
A good argument to show that wrestling is good for the community is that major wrestling networks such as the WWE have contributed a great amount of money to charity. One of the most famous ways for wrestlers to raise money is to autograph certain items they may own and auction them off to raise funds for a selected charity. Other things such as putting on food drives and bring about awareness of those in need show the network truly cares.
Wrestlers are also commonly intellects- with many of them having published their own books to be read by fans of their work. Even if just an autobiography, wrestlers show that writing a book can be a valuable life goal that can help achieve further fame in the literary field, which can be tough to get into. No mountain is too high when you put your strength into your passions in life- this is something that wrestlers have been showing fans for many decades now.
